Won a contested hearing today on a Petition to Rescind Statutory Summary Suspension. The State did not allow for a meaningful hearing within 30 days of filing the Petition to Rescind. Judge begrudgingly ordered a rescission. Congrats to my client. No license suspension because of a DUI arrest.

Just finished a contested hearing on a Motion to Suppress Evidence and Quash Arrest in a DUI case. Won the motion and all evidence was suppressed including an evidentiary breath result of .16 The judge found no probable cause for the traffic stop!! State nolle prossed all charges!

Our client contacted us to handle a case involving DUI charges. The client and I were deeply concerned as the State hadn't produced crucial evidence; the police officer's body-worn camera video recording of their interaction. We back our clients fiercely, so we immediately drafted and filed a Motion for Discovery Sanctions on their behalf. Through this, we hope to bar any evidence that could possibly be depicted in the video. We will have a hearing in the motion next month. Upholding justice and our client's rights is our number one priority.

Appeared today on a case here where the client is facing a possible 7-year IDOC sentence. It's always heartbreaking when addiction puts people in tough spots like this one. Im glad to say that we've secured a lengthy continuance for our client, which means they've now have a chance to enter a rehab facility. Hopefully this will help the client in lessening his sentence and help him with his addiction issues.
